After a morning meeting on Zomma Protocol, Pat invited a few good friends for lunch, including IP, who I hadn't seen in a while and works with Taiwan's investment banking godfather, and Bryan, newly met today, who manages the global market trading department at Yuanta Securities (Hong Kong). Just chatted with Bryan about the possibility of listing funds with them. Thanks, Pat, for hosting! Later moved to Hive Venture to meet Pat's classmate John and another founder friend, Yan, listening to them discuss their newly launching dual-GP fund. Afterward, went to Palais de Chine Hotel to meet Sam, who just finished a FUNWOO study abroad seminar, and together we went to Taipei City Hall Station to meet up with Olen. First, at a shop-within-a-shop that's both a dumpling restaurant and a cafe, on the cafe owner's whimsical suggestion, tried using coffee as a dipping sauce for dumplings.
