Travel note: In the afternoon, I first visited my old friend Taka near Taipei 101—we hadn't seen each other in over seven years. After leaving ITRI, Taka is now the COO at a tech startup; with funding from an ICO, they launched their first product, Joyso, a cryptocurrency exchange built on Ethereum. After saying goodbye, I had dinner with the chairman of a Taiwanese commercial bank, a media industry veteran, and the son of Xuan Mingzhi. We chatted freely, and time just flew by.
