Travel Notes Summary: Taipei Neihu MRT Line – First Full-Line Experience. Today, I made plans with Ah-Fu, Xing-Jian, and Xiao-P to go swimming, so I took the opportunity to try the newly opened Neihu MRT line, which officially started operations yesterday. My current place is only a 6-minute walk from Neihu Station, which is a bit more convenient compared to before when I had to ride my scooter for nearly 15 minutes to Kunyang Station and then transfer to the MRT. Starting from Neihu Station and heading toward Taipei Main Station, the line passes through Wende, Gangqian, Xihu, Jiannan Road, Dazhi, Songshan Airport, Zhongshan Junior High School, Nanjing East Road, and finally connects to the Bannan Line at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station. So, it requires one transfer to reach Taipei Main Station. Today, I was heading to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station, which meant transferring again at Taipei Main Station to the Tamsui Line. In total, it took about 50 minutes for 15 stations plus transfer time.
