Travel note summary: After a busy day, we had a wine gathering at this hard-to-find private kitchen in the evening. Besides previously met Kelvin, David, and Lucas, I also newly met Leticia, Xiao AA, Florence, Vivi, as well as Brother Sam and Andy—exactly 10 people at the table. In addition to several red and white wines and one whiskey, Andy also brought 3 expensive Belgian beers to share. The owner, Chef Zhao, is from Shanghai and is already 60 this year—he can cook all kinds of cuisines. There were many exquisite dishes, and his skills were truly impressive. After the meal, we listened to Chef Zhao talk about the methods of various elaborate dishes—just hearing the names made our mouths water. We went from 6:30 PM until almost midnight.
