Travel notes: Had lunch with Zhenliang, whom I hadn't seen in two or three years. Zhenliang started at J.P. Morgan, then moved to Prudential Insurance, and now works at a vibrant insurance brokerage called Bei'an. He's been in the insurance industry for over eight years since switching from investment. He's also a director of the Taiwan CFP (Certified Financial Planner) Association—there are only about 2,000 people in Taiwan with a CFP license. We chatted about hot topics like 5G, AI, AR/VR, and how insurance is about defense while investment is about offense, and they complement each other.
