Travel Notes: From the 21st to the 25th were the international event days for ETH Taipei. In the afternoon, I first went to the main venue to listen to the Demo Day of the hackathon. Watching many passionate young teams take the stage one by one to explain their various solutions—from cryptocurrency payments and event NFT proofs to work resume verification, Gnosis sidechain applications, reducing gas fees for virtual land... using smart contracts and algorithms, everyone is working hard to build various Web3 infrastructure and application layers. After it ended, I returned to the side event at Taipei Ark. Greeted Dingyuan and Ted. Taiwan is so small; I met Olen at the main venue and Ariel at the Ark. Then I also met Lawrence, and through him, I newly got to know Sun, the Chief Security Officer of Xrex exchange. Sun is also the founder of DeFiHackLabs, which has a Web3 security community of over a thousand people. Additionally, I newly met members of the Taipei Ethereum Meetup and Bing, a former officer of the NCCU Blockchain Research Club.
