Travel Note: Katsujiken AI Machine-made Ramen on Nanyang Street in Taipei. Fully self-service ordering, with machines cooking the noodles. After operating the screen, the machine internally handles the frozen ingredients packaging, then you take it to the side to scan a code as instructed, and a dedicated machine heats it up. In a few minutes, a steaming bowl of ramen is ready. With acceptable taste, a bowl costing over a hundred TWD (better than instant noodles, worse than chef-cooked), it significantly reduces staffing costs. Quite an interesting model.
