Location: Taipei, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center 4F, Movie Collector Museum
Travel note summary: Took advantage of a quiet Monday afternoon to soak up some culture. Alone in the spacious movie museum, I watched the evolution of recording media—from film reels to videotapes, then to digital discs. Seeing the costumes from dramas like 'The Empress' and 'Justice Bao' brought back many childhood memories. Pausing before the complete set of recording equipment from the Kuangchi Program Service, I reflected on the constant changes of history and era, then moved on. After having an iced drink at the Eslite bookstore downstairs in Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, I bought a ticket and spent 45 minutes sitting on the floor in the exhibition hall, surrounded by elegant classical music and 360-degree projections, quietly appreciating the life works of Viennese artist Gustav Klimt. Settling my mind, I hoped to gain more insight into the meaning of life. By Morgan @2022.7.11 afternoon
