Travel Notes: After work one night, I met up with former colleague Zheyi (Fox), who now works at Gonglong Chemical. We ended up at Grand Hyatt Pork Chop in a lane near Zhongxiao Dunhua. The pork chop with pickled vegetables rice wasn't cheap at NT$145, but the large fried pork chop was fragrant and tasty. It reminded me of the famous old shop in Tainan, Xiaonan Laosu. I tried it years ago when I first visited Tainan, and later revisited their Taipei branch. Life is short, and though we always say "next time," sometimes that next time never comes. We just have to keep moving forward and go with the flow...
