Location: Taipei, Pinton Farm Japanese Pork Cutlet & Curry
Travel note summary: Pinton Farm is another chain under the Wowprime Group, specializing in Japanese pork cutlets. An old student of Loco, Brother A-Cheng, is now the store manager there. So one evening, Loco, A-Li, Da-Ting, Zi-Qiang, and I went to the Nanjing East Road branch for dinner. The set meal costs around NT$290 + 10%, including appetizer, main course, sides, dessert, and drink. Brother A-Cheng even asked the kitchen to serve us some extra special dishes, so we left feeling very full. Having tried several famous Japanese pork cutlet shops in Taipei, the common points are the shredded cabbage and hand-ground sesame sauce—Pinton Farm is no different, and it tastes quite sweet. As for the fried items, honestly, while they're fragrant, the tenderness falls short compared to some renowned shops; they're a bit too dry. Eating too much can get a bit tiresome. But considering the whole set meal and price (including pickles, chawanmushi, miso soup, etc.), it maintains the rich and worthwhile feel typical of Wowprime's chains, making it a good spot for gatherings.
