Location: Taipei, Xiju Fine Hot Pot
Travel note: Xiju Fine Hot Pot in Taipei is a rather upscale hot pot restaurant tucked away in an alley on Guangfu South Road. The seafood is served with live shrimp and dry ice, which is quite impressive. Paired with 9+ grade Wagyu beef, it made for a very lavish dinner. Our server Qianhui is an indigenous Taiwanese from Taichung and can really hold her liquor. The five of us ended up opening four bottles of red wine, and the bill came to around 16,000 TWD. Cheers!
