Travel Notes: Tonight, I joined Lman-senpai for an event at Solana Taipei Hacker House - Side Event. I ran into Ben, whom I hadn't seen in over three years due to the pandemic. Ben was one of the speakers at this Solana event and brought several friends from Hong Kong to Taiwan. The event was hosted by the NCCU Blockchain Club as a warm-up. I also bumped into Ariel and Shen, whom I met just last week. Plus, the host was Chiu Chun from Taiwan's Solana community Gen3. It was surprising to meet so many familiar faces in one night! :P Afterwards, Lman-senpai and I moved to the izakaya next door. I introduced Teddy to senpai, only to find out that senpai had already heard Teddy's pitch during an online meeting at Cacafly—Taiwan really is a small place. Teddy is working on a Web3 location-based game (dLBS), while Alvin next to him is focused on Space Crocodile NFTs. Thanks to the emergence and development of Web3, senpai and I had the chance to gather and share insights with a new generation, almost 20 years apart.
