Location: Taipei, Dosanko Sanroku Sanuki Udon
Travel note snippet: Met up with an old friend, Xiao Yu, who's also the moderator of the 'Full Moon and Stars' BBS food board. The three of us went to Dosanko Sanroku Sanuki Udon on Fuxing South Road. We arrived early at 11:10 AM, so the place was still empty. The tempura and side dishes are self-service. After grabbing some inari sushi and tempura, we ordered udon at the counter. The udon was soft yet chewy, and the broth was light and refreshing. Though the toppings weren't particularly impressive, the noodles and soup were quite appealing. The place is small and gets crowded, so we couldn't linger. After the meal, we moved to a nearby Seattle Coffee and chatted until 5:30 PM. Time flies when catching up with old friends!
