Location: Taipei – Dream of Mediterranean Cuisine
Travel note: After my health check-up, I was in a good mood, so I decided to clear out the remaining photos. Dream of Mediterranean Cuisine is a place I visited with my family for lunch after attending my younger brother's graduation ceremony (National Taiwan University, Class of '97 graduation notes). When I first saw the restaurant's name, it felt familiar. Later, upon seeing the business card, I realized that over four years ago, I had been to its original location near Shida University (#56) (One Day and Night in Taipei). Back then, I had just moved from Tainan to Hsinchu for work. The previous week, I had visited the sacred trees in Smangus (#55) (Two-Day Trip to Neiwan and Smangus), and the following week, I came to Taipei for a company-wide event. Over that weekend, I packed in several meetups with friends—from Dream of Mediterranean Cuisine in Shida to Brass Monkey Pub on Fuxing North Road, then from Ikari Coffee near Songjiang Road to K-Mall in front of Taipei Main Station and Senki on Nanyang Street, ending with tea at Maokong until night before taking the late bus back to Hsinchu.
