Location: Taipei Da'an District Liuxia Wine Bar
Travel Notes: Taipei Da'an District Tsukiji Sushi, Liuxia Wine Bar. This week, I attended six different themed conferences: green energy, Edge AI, aquaponics, mining machines, digital assets. The last one this week was with a well-known senior figure in finance to discuss how traditional finance and blockchain finance can connect. Thanks for the dinner treat. Afterward, came to a wine bar near Lishui Street run by the beautiful owner Kay, who opens only on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays out of interest. Burgundy Premier Cru (top 2% globally on Vivino), Bordeaux, South African reds—prices aren't cheap, but we really drank to our heart's content. Taiwan is so small; I ran into Yunfu from Rock Records here, so I messaged Teddy, and sure enough, they knew each other. XD Also met Xiao An, a neighbor living nearby who already has many girlfriends at just ten years old. Chatted randomly with him about all sorts of things. Thanks to Kay for treating us to Islay whiskey. Cheers! By Morgan @2025.2.21 evening
