Travel Notes: Two meetings today, paired with two drinking spots. With Wic, first to Hua Nan Futures in the morning, then to Capital Futures in the afternoon. Chatted with senior execs about possibilities for AI + financial products. After Hua Nan, I remembered I hadn't seen General Manager Xiang-Huan for two years, so I dropped by to say hi to President Zeng and had tea. After finishing meetings with some VPs at Capital Futures and Capital Futures Consulting in the afternoon, I habitually searched for places to drink in the afternoon. First found an Italian and French wine merchant: Tappo Fine Wine, and chatted with owner Hannah. Bar Way Home mainly sources from them too. Then visited Winebay, SAKEMARU... but they either didn't offer dine-in or it was too early. Luckily, finally found a small shop near Da'an Forest Park—Subarashiiya. Owner Yunyun is tall and beautiful. The shop focuses on Kagoshima's Kojika Shuzo, with plum wine and shochu. Also many Japanese whiskies.
