Travel note summary: After dinner, my good brother Pat suddenly arranged a gathering. His former subordinate Heng from his time at Credit Suisse came to Taiwan with his wife these few days to handle some matters and also to meet up with Pat. Pat then invited me to join and get to know them. Heng now works in the investment team (Family Office) at Chow Tai Fook in Hong Kong, helping to evaluate various investable projects or funds. His wife works at a fund platform invested by Temasek in Singapore, using a FOF method to allow retail investors to participate in top-tier VC fund investments that are usually only accessible to large institutions. Heng has also looked into some crypto projects in recent years; two years ago during the crypto downturn, they also invested in Hashkey's fund. Coincidentally, I was wearing an Aptos T-shirt today, and Heng actually recognized at a glance which public chain it was. That's quite rare.
