Location: Taipei, Da'an District, MonBar Premium Wine Bar
Travel note summary: MonBar Premium Wine Bar in Da'an District, Taipei. After a meeting this afternoon, since Xiao Gao is heading back to Kenting soon with only a few gatherings left, I came to see him off. The location chosen was Mon at the intersection of Guangfu South Road and Xinyi Road—a prime spot. Their imported Australian and New Zealand reds and whites have a unique flavor. Met Micky, who previously worked at Ogilvy and has lived in 7 countries; he now runs an ad agency with a few friends. Also met Kuikui, who spent six years in Australia and then opened a B&B in Kenting. Plus Coco who stopped by briefly, Micky's cousin, and Jimmy, who is in charge of the entire wine business department for a wine merchant opened by the owner of a passive component agency, which is the parent company of this bar's bar operations. The private room was full all night. Had a great conversation with Jimmy. Thanks to Jimmy for giving me a VIP card. Around 22:00, I even had a remote meeting with Cindy and Ruqi. Later, met the Thai girl PhingPhing again exactly one week later—different paths, same destination, Cheers! By Morgan @Evenin…
