Travel notes: An extremely busy Monday with meetings in the morning. At noon, my classmates/alumni from Weidao, Steven, Nengjia, and Qibin, came to Taipei to handle some matters and had a meal with me. After eating, I continued with meetings and then worked on some tasks. In the evening, Ariel invited Jude and Amy from Fireblocks for dinner. Fireblocks, founded by several Israeli entrepreneurs, is like the SWIFT of the crypto world. Through their leading MPC (Secure Multi-Party Computation) technology, they provide core functions for secure custody and fast transactions of digital assets. They currently have 1,800 clients globally, with a valuation of $8 billion in the last round. Jude and his supervisor Amy are usually based in Singapore and came to Taiwan for a four-day business trip. Ariel mentioned they wanted to get to know more friends in Taiwan's crypto circle, and I'm grateful she thought of me first. XD So we all met at an izakaya in the evening for a relaxed chat.
