Travel Notes: Taipei, Dazhi, Victoria Hotel 4F N°168 Steakhouse (2nd visit). Last time I came was over twelve years ago, feels like a lifetime. Joey just returned from Shanghai today and asked me to dinner, so I invited my junior Gene along to discuss potential collaborations. Thought, why not have steak at 168? Originally no seats available, but thanks to my friend Richard, the young master of Victoria, who directly helped me secure a table at their restaurant on a Saturday night, and even treated us to pizza and an Italian red wine. Thanks to Richard for the thoughtful arrangement. Later we ordered an extra bottle of 'Kami no Shizuku,' the final apostle's winery wine, a Bordeaux red, paired with a 28-day dry-aged American ribeye steak—truly satisfying. Later, we'll grab a taxi and head to Linsen North to hang out at Brother Xiao Hei's place~ Cheers! By Morgan @2024.10.26 evening
