Location: Taipei Dazhi, Marriott Hotel 20F INGE'S Bar & Grill
Travel note: In the afternoon, juniors from Le Si Ji introduced me to a major Taiwan stock market player whose trading positions can swing around 40 million NT dollars in just 30 minutes. Since it's Sunday afternoon and few places are both quiet and allow drinking, I thought of it and asked WINESWEE, a wine merchant I know in Neihu, to reserve a VIP room upstairs for us. After arriving, we opened two red wines from Georgia and Chile. The four of us chatted freely while drinking in the private room. Afterward, we headed to the top floor of the nearby Marriott Hotel for dinner. The per-person cost here isn't cheap, almost on par with Michelin-starred restaurants, but the night view and ambiance are truly excellent. Considering the dishes—lobster seafood platter, U.S. Prime steak... I paired them with Weightstone white wine, which has a refreshing lychee-like sweetness that went well with the meal. Thanks to my good friend for treating! Cheers! By Morgan @2023.8.13 evening
