Location: Green House in an alley off Anhe Road, Taipei. Jimmy invited me for drinks at this low-key, mysterious spot owned by his friend Eden. There's no sign, and it's all regulars—you even need a password to enter. Turns out it's a spin-off from JS Wine on Xinyi Road, so the manager Xiao Wen and the owners are all familiar faces from before. Jimmy shared fun stories about moving from Taipei to Kenting over the past three years, and I clinked glasses with fellow drinkers like Brother Cai, Eric, Patrick, Dongdong, A-Jiu... and Benny, a shareholder of the soon-to-be-listed Chuyu, and reporter Xiao Ge, who knows all nine L'Hotel properties well.
