Travel Notes: Tonight, Morgan introduced two elders. Since I'm usually in charge of choosing the gathering spot, after some thought, I picked Chen, which was originally a private club. Besides a few counter seats, the rest are all private rooms, making it perfect for chatting and discussing matters. Also, because Chen is located in a basement near Keelung Road and Zhongxiao East Road, it's very quiet and not well-known, so it's easier to get a reservation on weekend nights. But the ingredients inside are not careless either. The evening set menu comes in three options: 1500, 2000, and 2500. The three of us all ordered the 2500 Dingding set (600 RMB). The set menu is omakase style, so the chef decides based on the day's ingredients, making it a kind of omakase. It includes appetizer, salad, sashimi platter, three main courses, nigiri sushi, soup, dessert, and fruit.
