Travel note summary: Phew, these past two weeks I've returned to the days of coding like crazy. But after coding for over ten years, there's a real difference—writing applications gets smoother and smoother. After domestic futures products (HTS), I'm now almost able to automate the entire process for trading foreign products. I can also integrate multiple trading strategies to have them trade into a single account. TradeStation => Easy Language => RealTimeData => TSCatcher.exe => StrategySignal(s).txt => SignalHandler.exe => AutoTrader.exe => Broker Server. Finally, managed by the automation software MacroExpress, I can preliminarily achieve automated trading (provided the internet doesn't drop). Basically, whatever part is missing, I write the program and system for that part. If there are resources online, I use them; if not, I write them myself. Just climb mountains when you see them, wade through rivers when you encounter them. Once I've prepared all the necessary things in one go, I can move to the live testing phase.
