Location: Taipei, Xiaoxiao Mai Yongji Branch, Japanese Izakaya
Travel note summary: At noon, I walked to Jixiang Road to try the pork cutlet that Brother Ethan often checks in at but I never had time to eat. I ordered a small bowl of Kā mǎ lán black pork tonkatsu donburi. The pork cutlet had a great chew and was full of aroma, paired with refreshing shredded cabbage and dipping sauce. For someone with a small appetite like me, I regretted not ordering the large portion. :P In the afternoon, after shopping at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, I found T in the evening to go to an izakaya together and open a bottle of sake. Later, Andrew, who just returned from Hangzhou today, also joined. As soon as he arrived, he ordered 6 raw oysters, followed by more sake. Thanks to Andrew for treating most of it. Cheers~ By Morgan @2024.11.17 evening
