Travel note summary: In the morning, I first had breakfast with Pat, Sam, and David from PlugAndPlay to get acquainted. Although P&P isn't very well-known in Taiwan, their headquarters are also in Silicon Valley. They are a company with multiple roles combining incubator, accelerator, VC... with a larger connection ecosystem than YC (50,000 startups, 500 world-class companies). Originally, Pat had arranged to have lunch with Barrett, the founder of MOHO (Animation Software), but he canceled last minute due to an emergency. So for lunch, it was me, Pat, Sam, Sam's wife Monica, and their daughter Alexandra. Alexandra was born and raised in the US and entered Mensa, an association for the world's top geniuses, in her teens. Her parents' genes are just too outstanding. :P Thanks to Pat for lunch! After the Zomma meeting in the afternoon, in the evening, I had dinner with Ramen Senior, the IT guru junior Jserv, Lee Yanming senior from the NCKU Computer Network Enthusiasts Club, plus junior James.
