Afternoon meeting at Zomma—thanks to Pat for providing many valuable deck suggestions from an investment banking perspective. Evening visit to Unblock's new office near Zhongxiao Dunhua Station to chat about their recent BD developments. At night, with John (one of the co-founders & CTO), attended a quantitative trading friends' sharing session hosted by his friend Sam. Sam recently left Fubon and is now a full-time investor, with positions spread across Taiwanese stocks, futures, options, and recently started adding cryptocurrency. Seeing how he used Google Apps Script to connect with FTX API in less than two months for MOVE contract arbitrage and basket coin trend trading, I felt his immense passion for trading. His performance has been quite steady. We chatted so happily we lost track of time—had to catch the last train back to Taichung again. @@ By Morgan @2022.4.21 evening
