Location: Taipei Yanji Street, Pan House Wine & Bistro
Travel note: I hadn't seen senior captain Lin Yan for a long time—every time we tried to meet, he was either flying a plane in the air or not in Taipei. Tonight was perfect: it's the birthday of Ian, the younger brother of Pan House's owner, so Lin Yan invited everyone here for a gathering. It started with 3 guys and 6 girls, but eventually grew to 11 guys and 13 girls. I initially tried to remember all the girls' names (I did remember the first few), but there were just too many later on, so I gave up and went with the flow. As expected, at Lin Yan's gatherings, the number of girls always exceeds the guys. Back in the day, people in the circle used to say, 'When I grow up, I want to be like Lin Yan!'—and it's true! Taiwan is also small; Ian is also the owner of the 'Go Yobu Re' bar in Taichung's 7th District. I think I met and chatted with him when they first opened. Pan House has a basement KTV for singing~ Cheers! :) By Morgan @2023.8.12 evening
