Location: Taipei, Back Garden View Restaurant
Travel note summary: One night, Boss Loco, his good friend Brother Yi-Wu, Ziqiang, Brother Bo, and I drove to a view restaurant at the foot of the mountain behind Culture University to play cards and chat. Since we left in a hurry, I didn't bring my camera, so I had to grab some photos from the restaurant's website (http://www.backgarden.com.tw/). Basically, the photos taken by the restaurant are prettier, so it's fine :P. The prices at the restaurant aren't exactly cheap. If you want to use the semi-private sofa booth seating, I remember the minimum spend per person was around 300 NTD. That night, we ordered a pot of 'Ten Complete Great Tonic Chicken' hotpot, stir-fried some dishes, and brewed a pot or two of tea. The five of us easily reached the quota without much effort. As for the view, since it was drizzling that day, the night view was inevitably somewhat diminished. However, the sofa seats on the second floor (available on both first and second floors) were quite atmospheric. You could see couples there enjoying candlelit dinners.
