Travel notes: Had lunch with General Liang, Boss Loco, and Alex at Thai & Thai in Breeze Xinyi. Started with a glass of white wine before the meal, followed by red wine with the food. In the afternoon, I went to Syntrend Creative Park to meet a senior from my NCKU club who runs a ramen shop. He founded a blockchain company called Biilabs, and their office is here. There were quite a few juniors from NCKU, including one from the Industrial Management class of '08—that's 17 years apart; she was just born when I was in college! Later, my college classmate Naiwen, who's a manager at Goldman Sachs, happened to be off today, so I invited her to Syntrend to catch up and share ideas. In the evening, near Ningxia Night Market, we went to Tai Chun Xiao Guan, a spot I hadn't visited in ages. With General Liang, Alex, my long-lost college senior Zongxian MFT, A-Le, and his business partner, we enjoyed red wine with Japanese cuisine and chatted.
