Travel note: Four meetings in one day. In the morning, visited a graphics card OEM company in Zhonghe with Mars, A-Le, Ben, and Pat. At noon, Mars suggested a quick meal, but he just made a call to Morton's on the 45th floor of Breeze Xinyi and secured a private room with his face and name—truly a high-end 'fast food' XD. A-Le and Ben own five to six hundred rental suites and some commercial properties in the Greater Taipei area. Hoping to explore some cross-industry collaborations. Thanks again to Mars for the treat! In the afternoon, visited Blocto with Pat and chatted with Co-founder Edwin and their team—they're about to start a new round of funding. In the evening, met Senior Lman and James, the Chief Innovation Officer at Digital Times and a junior from the NCKU Civil Engineering Class of '92, near Nanjing Fuxing Station. Thanks to my junior for the two glasses of red wine. Later, near the Far Eastern Plaza, had Thai food with my cousin Yi-Ting, who came to Taipei for an interview, and another cousin Ming-Zhen.
