Taipei, Zhongxiao East Road, 沃wo Bistro—tonight I came to a property managed by A-Le, where a few enthusiastic young people rented the space and storefront from him and opened this bar. I had a drink with A-Le's other friends in land development and some of the biggest names in Taipei's rental-management industry; I ended up having four cocktails, and the food was surprisingly good.
