Travel Notes: Fourth visit to Hooters on Qingcheng Street, fifth visit to Fenglu 12=>1496. Came in the evening for a gathering organized by Don. Attendees included Alan, a GM at a foreign tech company; Eric, whose company is valued at 50M; GEO from a German AI company; retired Taiwanese businessman Stanley Chen, who used to make zippers in Dongguan; John Lin, who sold his company to an American firm in 1996, achieved financial freedom, retired, and now lectures at a university; Rock from Garmin; plus me—eight people total. Afterward, went to Xiao Hei Ge's shop on Linsen North Road, met Xiao Yu, whom I got to know last week, and her recently graduated National Chengchi University senior Arche.
