After visiting Syntrend with some old classmates, we split up and I was heading to a comic book store when Zhengliang sent a message saying it had been a while and asking if I wanted to grab tea. Since chance meetings beat planned invitations and he lived nearby, I took a taxi over to the Dunhua Sogo area. Zhengliang is still at Prudential and recently got his international financial planner certification; we chatted about our recent lives—it really had been a while.
