Travel note summary: Tonight, my friend John from the alternative military service days invited me to dinner. He also invited Brother Zeng from HTC and a colleague, Winnie from Acer, Stanley from the Japanese company Morpho who works on camera algorithms, Vincent from HMD who works on Nokia phones, and Owen from the American robotics company Flexiv (which just raised $100 million in Series A funding), who is responsible for Asia operations. Plus, senior Pat from Credit Suisse. Old and new friends from various industries gathered, chatting about all sorts of topics. I also taught senior Pat next to me how to use MetaMask for token swaps. Brother Zeng is a top foodie who often brings his own seafood ingredients to restaurants to cook. Tonight was no exception—the squid, squid balls, fish cakes... every dish was fresh and delicious. He just shares photos on Google, and over the past few years, he's gotten over two million views.
