Travel Notes: Today was a good day—I had dinner invitations from three different friends in the evening. Unfortunately, I couldn't be in multiple places at once, so I chose one and ended up in Xindian. Yujia, a comrade from our national defense service 20 years ago, came all the way from Hsinchu to host a gathering. The attendees were all his friends from the tech industry in Taipei or Hsinchu—Philips, HP, ASUS, HTC, Realtek, Crystal Optech, Macronix... For the food, HTC's seafood master Spirit took charge of arranging various seafood dishes. Along with Senior Don, Tianhao, and another national defense service friend, Hongqi, there were 13 of us in total. Red crab, mullet roe, fish balls... paired with German white wine and whiskey—it was a very satisfying meal. Thanks to John for hosting! Cheers! — Morgan @2024.12.26 evening
