Last time I ate at New Ton Dong Hai was 14 years ago, at the wedding banquet of Maoba and Maoma, blogger friends I met back in the Wretch blog days. Today, Steven brought his wife up to Taipei for a visit, and since I didn't go back to Taichung this week, we all had dinner together in Taipei. Steven said to eat near where I live, so I picked this branch I hadn't been to in ages to play host and reminisce a bit. The seafood at New Ton Dong Hai is still very fresh, and the chef's skills are top-notch. The whole meal was quite satisfying. After eating, I took the Zous to nearby Raohe Street Night Market for a stroll. A perfect end to the first day of the long holiday. By Morgan @2022.9.9 night
