Taipei Regent Hotel B2 INLUXE | Ji Yun Premium Bird's Nest Tasting Event. In the afternoon, I attended a collaborative tasting salon for Brenda and Ji Yun, a new bird's nest brand. Ji Yun bird's nests are produced in cleanrooms in Malaysia, and each bird's nest has a traceability barcode. They only pick the top 2% from nature reserves that meet the standard. Today we tried four different bird's nest preparations: room temperature with gold leaf, with hot chicken soup, with grape sorbet, and finally a blind tasting comparing two types. In the afternoon, I enjoyed the bird's nest with a few elegant ladies, accompanied by a plum wine (Joyaus) from founder Eddie's cousin's brand. Afterward, I exchanged opinions with Eddie & Brenda.
