Travel note summary: One weekend, after swimming at the Chunghwa Telecom Club with Ah Fu and Xing Jian, we went to this nearby Hangzhou Xiaolong Tangbao for a meal. This place is similar in nature to another restaurant nearby (Taipei, Revisited: Shengyuan, Luffa Xiaolong Tangbao, Northern and Southern Dim Sum). Both shops are probably quite well-known near Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Every time I pass by, there are always many customers dining inside. So that time, taking advantage of the early hour, we hurried to be the first table when the shop opened to avoid queuing. However, since there were only three of us, we couldn't order almost everything on the menu like we did before at Shengyuan. But we still ordered some key items like soup dumplings and shaomai to try. We found that their food is really quite good—it's a place that makes you want to go back and try more.
