Travel note summary: Evening dinner with senior Lman. I invited my direct junior from university, Youming, to join. Senior is Class of '86 in Chemistry from Cheng Kung University, junior is Class of '10 in Industrial Engineering and Management—exactly 15 years apart. I'm Class of '91, always playing the role of bridging generations. :p My junior, who was stationed in Vietnam for years at Pou Chen and recently returned to Taiwan, now works at Delta Electronics doing industry analysis. Senior just came back from meeting with the founder of Bahamut, a gaming website where he's one of the shareholders. Coincidentally, my junior is also a Bahamut user, so we started talking about games and later moved on to energy storage and carbon neutrality. Later, Lman's sister Sophia joined. Sophia and I met once in 2010 when I lived in Shanghai. We ate at a Shanghai restaurant that had a dish called 'Soft Heart' (dates stuffed with glutinous rice filling)—I still remember it even now, thanks to having posted on Facebook.
