Travel Notes: First stop of the night in Taipei's East District at KOR Taipei, catching up with good friends over drinks, back on the 11th floor of XX. Taiwan is such a small world—turns out Duan Yu (Sister Duan) and my good friend have known each other for years. Allan, who works in investment banking and flew in from Hong Kong, and LC, who arrived later—we'd actually met before in Shanghai. Thanks for hosting, Allan! Then, second stop: met up with Rex, whom I got to know last week at Omni. He and some friends who studied in the U.S. have a regular Wednesday night cigar gathering in a private room at KOR.
