Travel Notes: This afternoon, I had a WeChat voice call with Yujia, who currently works at Macquarie Securities (Hong Kong), introduced by Tony. I asked him about his experience with financial product issuance, hedging, and market making. As we chatted, I discovered that Yujia also attended Weidao High School. He was in his first year of high school when I was in my third year of junior high—Taiwan really is small; our paths overlapped in that time and space. Right after, I continued the call with another Weidao classmate, Haoting, and asked him about handling cross-strait capital flows. In the evening, Mr. Liang invited me to dinner in the East District, so I conveniently invited Sandia, who lives nearby, to join. The three of us ended up drinking three bottles of red wine.
