Travel notes: Taipei Songshan Creative Pasta. First session in the afternoon: had a remote chat with a friend from mainland China. He recently discussed cooperation with a Beijing futures company and needs someone who knows C# to help modify some indicators and interfaces. (Any friends can recommend? Many thanks!) Second session in the afternoon: had a simple remote meeting with Everest Venture Group (EVG) in Hong Kong. EVG has invested in many well-known projects in the crypto space. Since friends inside, Andy and Pat, are CMU alumni—Andy is also classmates with my Weidao classmate Haoting's younger brother in the US, and Pat and I are also Weidao senior-junior—such intricate connections are perfect for introductions. Andy also invited Jerome, one of their co-founders, to join. After the meeting, Andy created a Telegram group and added Ethan, who handles their investment business in Taiwan.
