Location: Taipei, Salon Flowers - WeightStone Taiwanese Wine on a lane off Songjiang Road
Travel notes: Spent the last couple days researching Claude-3 and ChatGPT-4, both paid memberships, to compare how they help with coding. Claude-3 seems to have less built-in data breadth, but you can feed it learning materials and it quickly provides usable feedback. It also adapts well to refined code. Using both together should enable more in the future. After that, on Sunday afternoon, I saw my junior Eva from Taichung First Senior High School Art Class check in on her story, so I headed to Songjiang Road. WeightStone, Taiwan's top winery, was holding a tasting at this flower shop. Wine brings people together—I met Iris from Cathay United Bank's private banking, Sunny from green energy investment firm Vatec, and Denise (Whale Sustainability), who used to sell luxury goods in China and now works in green building materials and carbon credits. We chatted over drinks and hit it off, planning to meet again in two weeks. I also met WeightStone's founder, Vivian—learned today she's the daughter of the Sinon chairman. Building a premium Taiwanese wine brand from scratch is no small feat! Cheers! …
