Travel note: Another busy week begins with 7 meetings in two days: 1. Chainsight (Web3 Anti-Scam, AML), 2. Zomma (DeFi Option Exchange), 3. Richwell (Asset Management), 4. Ascent (Fund Administration Service), 5. Timeless (Family Office), 6. ContiBit (Crypto Exchange), 7. DeFITs (Digital Asset Management). Besides remote meetings, I also visited Taipei 101 and Hong Tai Financial Building, which I hadn't been to in a while. This week, I met Max from Singapore-based Ascent and Martin (Malaysian Chinese) from Hong Kong-based Timeless. In the evening, I met up with Mars and senior Lman, whom I hadn't seen in some time. Last Sunday, while having drinks with Ray from Matrixport, we thought it'd be good to introduce him to a senior mining veteran. So we booked this Chinese restaurant, part of Eslite's venture into the F&B industry, to have dinner, drink red wine, and get to know each other. Their signature dishes are honey-glazed crispy beef short ribs and whiskey chrysanthemum chicken soup. At night, you can enjoy the view of Songshan through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
