Location: Taipei, hidden izakaya in an alley off Linsen North Road Travel notes: After visiting the Miniatures Museum near Songjiang Nanjing Station in the afternoon, I headed to Syntrend to meet my senior who works at Biilabs. After his English meeting with the new Spanish board member, we caught up at a café on the 11th floor. Later, I also dropped by to see the legendary junior, jserv. My senior's company, Biilabs, is a pioneer among Taiwan's blockchain startups. It was after visiting him before the Lunar New Year and chatting with my Goldman Sachs classmate Naiwen that I started diving deeper into blockchain and crypto over the past couple of months. Around 6:30 PM, I arrived at this hidden but fantastic izakaya in an alley off Linsen North Road. Besides the familiar face, Brother J.J., I also met David (Pang Dawen) today. I'd only known of him from the financial WeChat group 'Huijintai,' exclusive to Taiwanese, Hong Kong, and mainland Chinese folks. It was great to finally meet him in person.
