Travel Notes: Showtime Cinemas Group has 16 cinemas and 6 malls across Taiwan, with 2 more planned this year, and over a million members. The second-generation successors, Willy and Pat, who are Cornell University classmates, invited us to meet at one of their cinemas for lunch. Willy also brought his brother Clark, and I invited Lman senior. The five of us discussed some new Web3 ideas. Willy jokingly mentioned that the hard-to-book Uma Yakiniku is about to open at their Taichung Wenxin branch, and we could ask him for reservations if needed.
