Location: Taipei, Taoyuan Street Beef Noodles
Travel note: After work today, a colleague treated us to dinner and brought me and the summer intern here. He said it's an old shop he's been eating at since childhood—no signboard, no ads, all word-of-mouth. The place was indeed packed, every seat taken. As soon as I walked in and smelled the beef noodle aroma wafting over, I knew it probably wouldn't disappoint. Large chunks of beef, smooth noodles, and just the right hint of spiciness made even me, with my usually small appetite, finish a big bowl. Afterward, we went to nearby Kingstone on Chongqing South Road to buy two portable English vocabulary books. Gotta slowly patch up my weak spots @@a By Morgan @2011.8.22
