Travel note summary: 223 Oden on Minquan East Road in Taipei. This afternoon, I went out for a walk and exercise around the nearby Minsheng Community. As I was strolling, I suddenly remembered that Annie, the beautiful owner of Andy's Sake Shop, later opened a new shop near Songshan Airport. So I walked all the way here. It's the first time I've seen an oden shop with such an extensive drink menu—cocktails, whisky, red/white wine, sake, plum wine, soju... they have it all. So I tried having oden with a little drink, and it really had a unique flavor. Besides oden, the shop also has some main dishes. The Chongqing noodles were a bit spicy but quite fragrant, and paired well with the mild, hot oden soup. The shop also has a private room for 8–10 people where you can sing karaoke, and they offer a premium Wagyu and seafood hotpot for 2,000 per person. Saw Annie bustling around happily, very busy~ XD.
