Travel Notes: In the morning, went to a securities firm on Ren'ai Road to handle U.S. stock transfer business. After a simple eel rice meal nearby, visited a few museums I hadn't been to yet. Then came to a small wine shop in Minsheng Community, sat quietly alone, handling some things on my phone. Overheard two gentlemen at the next table chatting about travel, food, motorcycles—quite interesting. Around 5 PM, as they were leaving, one of them caught my eye at the door, saying I looked familiar. We started chatting, exchanged Facebook contacts. Brother Wu Jiefan (Ami) turned out to be an artist, spending a considerable annual budget on red wine. Adding him on Facebook also showed mutual friends like Brother Boliang and Lawyer Ye. The other, Brother Chen Heyi, runs a hotel in Hualien. Briefly chatted with Brother Ami about food and wine, left wanting more, agreed to meet next time for a proper drink.
